Therefore, the installation of hydraulic seals is very important, any errors in the installation process may affect the sealing performance, thus affecting the normal operation of hydraulic equipment, therefore, before the installation of the operator, it is necessary to understand the hydraulic seal installation precautions. In addition, the storage of hydraulic seals before installation should also be in place.
Hydraulic seal installation note:
1, check the piston, cylinder and the installation of the relevant surface of the guide sleeve, full package clean, no burr, no edge.
2, the installation tool requirements smooth, no edge, sharp corners, to ensure that the installation process will not cause any form of damage to the seal (should use hydraulic seal special installation tool).
3. When installing, a small amount of grease can be applied to the seal and the related surface of the cylinder to facilitate installation, but no residual grease is allowed between the rubber elastomer and the sliding seal ring, otherwise it will affect the sealing performance.
4, whether it is vertical or horizontal installation should maintain the piston and cylinder coaxiality, excessive eccentricity is likely to damage the seal.
5, the installation speed should not be too fast, otherwise it will damage the seal.
Storage of hydraulic seals:
During storage and safekeeping, the hydraulic seal should be placed in a sealed polytetrafluoroethylene and other moisture-proof plastic bag, and the storage date should be recorded, and then stored in a dark place to avoid poor storage and safekeeping such as high temperature or direct sunlight and reduce its sealing performance.
